Rudraksha (also called as Rudraksh) are dried seeds of a tree that grows in select locations of South East Asia, botanically known as Elaeocarpus Ganitrus. They are also known as “Tears of Shiva” & there are many legends connected to Lord Shiva that describe its origin. The word Rudraksha comes from the Sanskrit "Rudra" (name of Shiva) & "Aksha" meaning tears.
Rudrakshas are very supportive in maintaining physical & mental balance. Believed to enhance one’s spiritual growth, their curative properties have been used worldwide for a number of physical, mental & psychosomatic illnesses.
21” long (to end of tassel)
To avoid damage to the silk, try not to get your mala wet.
